Dr. Sudipta Saha is a highly experienced gastrointestinal and general surgeon with over two decades of expertise in advanced surgical care, medical education, and academic research. He is currently serving as Director Professor in the Department of Surgery at Lady Hardinge Medical College and has previously trained at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, where he completed his MBBS, MS in General Surgery, and senior residency.

Dr. Saha specializes in gastrointestinal surgery, laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgery, hernia surgery, vascular access surgery, breast surgery, and emergency surgical care. He is widely recognized for his patient-centered approach, combining evidence-based treatment with compassionate care and clear communication.

A Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the Association of Surgeons of India, Dr. Saha has authored numerous national and international publications and has presented his work at leading global surgical conferences. His clinical interests include minimally invasive procedures, vascular access for hemodialysis, gastrointestinal disorders, and surgical education.
